April theme is God the Divine

Sunday Sermon: For the Earth Forever Turning, by Rev. Tim Kutzmark, UU Church of Fresno

HAPPENINGS
April 5th “Hands Off” Rally

Happening tomorrow, Saturday, April 5th at the Old City Hall at Jefferson and Lee. Our own Diane Kirksey is the lead presenter at the “Hands Off March” organized by Indivisible Acadiana and co-hosted by our UU Fellowship.
Participants will meet at 1:00 pm at the Old City Hall at Jefferson and Lee. Come to the Lafayette local rally for this national day of action to stand up against those who believe they can take whatever they want — our democracy, our future, our rights.
Volunteers met Thursday at the church to make signs for the rally, so we have a supply for people who don’t bring their own.
Freetown Coterie Meeting – April 8th

Our church is in the Freetown neighborhood. Attend the meeting to find out how we as Unitarians can contribute to our neighborhood, our community garden, and all the activities that go on in the neighborhood.
Monthly public meetings are held at 6:30pm on the second Tuesday of each month at the Maison Creole de Freetown, 800 E. Vermilion Street.
Love the Boot Week — April 5-13

UU members are encouraged to find a cleanup event that’s close to them or close to their hearts. If you don’t find one you like, you can also start your own!
Unitarians Meet for Trans Visibility

On Friday, March 28, 70 Unitarians met via Zoom for Trans Day of Visibility. The Fellowship held a virtual watch party at the church for this event, which was sponsored by Church of the Larger Fellowship.
Freetown Coterie Meeting
On April 1st, Unitarians attended the Downtown Faith Alliance meeting. It was held at the First Methodist Church. The subject was homelessness and what we can do together to address it.
Visitor Sunday

It was great to see new faces at our Visitor Sunday service — hope to see them again!
Nice work, newsletter “Munchkins”, and big appreciation to all the valuable contributions you UUers are making.
See you all Sunday. ❤️❤️
