Dale Martin

I was born in Crowley, LA in 1953, graduating from Crowley High School in 1971. I entered Centenary College in Shreveport during Fall 1971, majoring in Music (voice) and Speech and Theatre. In July 1974 I relocated to San Franciso to complete my music degree at San Francisco State University. During the 32 years living in the San Francisco Bay area, I enjoyed teaching and performing music, and worked in the business world developing financial computer systems. In 2006 with my late husband and I left California to return to Louisiana (Rayne) to be near my family. Music has introduced me to many different ways to worship, and connect with ones spirituality and the world. When I first attended a service at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Lafayette in April 2023, I felt I had found my new spiritual family and home.
