Our Mission
We are a lay-led spiritual community with a diverse set of beliefs. We offer reverent services, stimulating learning, social activism, and welcoming community. The Unitarian Universalist Principles guides and fulfills our fellowship throughout it’s journey. Welcome!
Welcoming
Our Fellowship is a Welcoming Congregation: welcoming to bisexual, gay, lesbian, and transgender persons, and others. Learn more.
What’s Unitarian Universalism about?
Unitarian Universalist congregations affirm and promote these seven principles, plus one:
- The inherent worth and dignity of every person;
- Justice, equity and compassion in human relations;
- Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;
- A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
- The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;
- The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;
- Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part;
- (Pending approval by the UUA) Journeying toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.
Here’s more on what UU is about.
What you can expect at a service
See here for a description of a typical service, notes about child care, parking, etc.
Services are also broadcast via Zoom — find the link on our home page.
Becoming a member
To become a member of our fellowship, all that is required is to sign the Membership Book on the page for the current year. Our congregational year starts in January, but you can join at any time. If you are on Zoom and cannot make it to our building, you can send an email request to our membership chair, and they will write you in.
Donations from members are, of course, very welcome, but this is not a requirement of membership.
