WHAT IS A RELIGION?
Please join us this Sunday morning as we welcome Jerry Touchton, President of the Alexandria Unitarian Universalist Church. Jerry will be sharing some thoughts from the best seller, Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari.
Sapiens was published (English) in 2014 and made the 'must read' lists of Bill Gates, Barack Obama and other noted thinkers. The book is an expansive review of humankind and the evolution of globalization.
Please join us after the Service today for our First Sunday Potluck.
Mr. Touchton is president of the UU fellowship in Alexandria LA. He taught secondary mathematics, physics and computer programming for over 30 years in Louisiana, Florida, Georgia and Texas. He wrote educational software and books which were marketed in the 1990s. He is interested in popular music and has a large music collection; his book collection ranges over a wide area including mathematics, science, and history.
