CELEBRATING PASSOVER          OUR ANNUAL SEDER

Please join us this Sunday morning as we celebrate Passover with our annual Seder.  Our service will be lead by long time Fellowship Member, Bruce Coen.
In a sermon by the Rev. Marti Keller, they tell the story of the Exodus, the Passover myth, the Dayenu blessings which remind us of the difference between freedom, released from captivity or slavery, from being physically bound or imprisoned-- and true liberation. Liberation from all the emotional and social oppressions that keep us captive. The kind of liberation that finally frees us from just surviving, the most superficial safety, and allows for the kind of salvation and redemption that in freeing us, frees the whole world.
Please join with the Congregation as we celebrate our freedoms and the covenant we, as Unitarian Universalists, affirm and promote.
If you're able, please bring a dish to share at our Potluck table.
Please join us for a special POT LUCK meal this Sunday.  Bring a dish to share if you're able and plan to stay after our service.
Bruce Coen is a longtime member of UULALA since he and his family moved to Lafayette in 2004. Bruce has been board president along with being involved in the RE program and other committees. Bruce currently teaches Talented Theater for the Vermilion parish public schools. He's also a professional film and stage actor. Bruce has been leading the UU Passover Seder for many years and finds it to be one of his yearly highlights.

I think I speak for all of us in the fellowship in sincerely thanking all of those who stood for an office or volunteered to serve on a committee or other role. I believe that there should soon be an announcement by our new President of all standing committee selections. Let's make this another great year at UULALA.
