PEACEMAKING IN OUR TIME

"...we come to realize that peace is more than merely the absence of violence. Peace becomes an attitude, an approach to living. Peacemaking becomes a way of life."

Mary Guirard, UULALA Fellowship Executive Committee Secretary, will share the thoughts and wisdom of Rev. Joseph Boyd, Minister of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Youngstown, Ohio, this Sunday, December 09.

To create peace in our world, Rev. Boyd stresses that we must work for equality, justice and world community.  And if we cannot change the inequities of the world we must cultivate an inner peace that will sustain us.
