April 25, 2024

Our April theme is Generosity.

This Sunday’s sermon: “Generosity’s Perfection” from a Buddhist website: Lion’s Roar by Sharon Salzberg

Gentleness, self-sacrifice and generosity are the exclusive possession of no one race or religion. Mahatma Gandhi

The Gathering: UU discussion group held its second meeting last Sunday. A light lunch was enjoyed by all, followed by a lively discussion centered around Generosity. The topic for the meeting in May will focus on Equity, which is included in our current Seven Principles and proposed Values. Bring a brown bag lunch for yourself and join in this thoughtful experience.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Join us Sunday after service as we walk downtown to enjoy Festival International music, eat at one of the many food vendors and peruse the artists’ booths. A true feast for ear, eye and palate! Wear your UU shirt, if you wish.

Donate $5 for The Inn: Please consider buying items for about $5, during your weekly grocery trips, to donate to The Inn Ministry. Your amazing generosity is greatly appreciated by the folks at the Inn.
