Greetings fellow UUs and supporters!

We are meeting IN PERSON and on  Zoom until further notice.

Our theme for November is Remembrance.
From Touchstones: "Memory allows us to reflect on experience and deepen meaning." It can protect us from repeating the same mistake twice, or recall with fondness the memories of a loved one. Remembrance allows us to move forward and reflect. Remembrances can uplift or depress our spirits, but I like the ability to recall joyful experiences the best! -- Scott Ferguson

Sunday, November 6th Service:

Our sermon this Sunday is by Rev. Sandra Fees. A lot of the time we move through our lives believing that we can predict how our lives will evolve, but when things don't go the way we imagined, it can be shocking. The racist policies and practices in this country are disheartening and destructive -- breeding doubt and fear. How can we avoid losing heart? We can grow our resilience to endure uncertainty and give us hope. Resilience requires us to be both optimistic and realistic. While we may not be able to eliminate all injustices, what we *can* do matters. And we need not work alone. We can develop resiliency practices and strategies to help us grow and cope with disruption. Resilience is a chance to begin again and know that we can go on with our lives because "hope awaits us at every turn."
