Hello everyone! March is Women's History Month so we will be including items in our services to commemorate them. Here is a video tribute for Women's History Month! https://youtu.be/Oy-L-OVwmZQ Our theme for the month is RESPECT so we will also be including items in our services for that as well. March 21st's service features the award-winning sermon by Rev. Dorothy Wilson Kimble titled 'Glorious Woman'. She shares her experiences as a young minister and offers advice to those of us who are struggling with our demons, both real and imagined. The sermon will be read by Chris Menard. Thanks Chris! (If you cannot attend the service you may wish to view the linked sermon pdf above.) We continue to hold our services online until further notice. We appreciate our members who have volunteered to read during the services and are looking forward to guest speakers for each upcoming month. We welcome Phyllis Richard who will be reading the historic speech 'Ain't I a Woman' delivered by by Sojourner Truth to the 1851 Women's Convention in Akron, Ohio. We need readers for this Sunday. If you are interested in reading any of the following parts, please reply to this email: Opening (you are welcome with all your imperfections!), Chalice Lighting, A Moment of Silence (for women lost to violence), Responsive Reading (our 7 Principles), Meditation (welcome into the light), Chalice Extinguishing Dawn Guillotte has experienced homelessness and drug addiction in the past -- including the loss of her children to child protection services -- and will be sharing her experiences and coping mechanisms with us with her presentation on March 28th titled 'An unfortunate little American girl'. Bill Oliver is a musician and naturalist from Texas who goes by the moniker of 'Mr. Habitat' and has been labelled an "Environmental Troubador" by Time Magazine.
