September’s theme is DEMOCRACY
October’s theme is CIRCLE of LIFE
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed individuals can change the world. In fact, it’s the only thing that ever has.

The 2024 Rummage Sale UU Fund-raiser – Start Collecting Items! It is not too early for UUFoL members and friends to begin thinking about how they can make the October 26 fund-raising sale a success. You can begin by collecting items they no longer need or want, as well as by asking family and friends for donations. Donations can include household items for kitchen and bath, home décor, linens, tools, toys, sporting goods, musical instruments, jewelry and fashion accessories, antiques and collectibles, and small furniture pieces. All donations must be clean and in good working order. The event will be held at Jockey Lot. More information will follow next week.
All proceeds from this sale will go to this year’s operating budget. For more information, contact Chris Menard.
GET OUT THE VOTE
Postcard Writing
If you want to contribute to the get–out-the-vote effort, ask us about postcards. You can have your own post-card writing gathering. It’s fun! We did one at church last Sunday. I did one at home on Wednesday. Folks were grateful to have a chance to do something to help our democracy flourish.
THE INN MINISTRY
While gathering items for the Rummage Sale, please keep coats, jackets, sweaters, warm pants for the folks at the Inn as winter is approaching.
