HAPPENINGS
POTLUCK SUNDAY
Join us as we continue our fellowship right after service.
(I haven’t left you much time to prepare, but I’m sure you’ll come up with something delicious.) (Also, remind up to take pictures!)
GET OUT THE VOTE
Hone your activism! Join us after lunch to write and stamp postcards to potential voters!
THE INN MINISTRY
Karl volunteered to join us at the Inn since Jim & his car were not available. We fill up 3 cars with boxes of food items: an ice chest for salads, veggies, fresh fruit like grapes, cut watermelon, cantaloupe, etc; a big box for bananas, apples and oranges, 2 boxes of canned goods; boxes for milk, cereal, oatmeal & grits; dog & cat food; a container for cleaning and personal items; box for clothing if we have any. Jim’s car usually holds the meat and bread, plates, bowls, can openers, utensils. The list goes on. Jim and Janet have quite a system. We open the car windows and trunks so we can reach in. In the picture, you see Janet’s open trunk and Maria handing a shopping bag of items to someone.
